The new box won in the Packaging category
The new 'A Pummarola box , created in collaboration with Dolce&Gabbana, won the prestigious Italian Food Awards USA 2023 in the Special Awards Packaging category , awarded by the jury of experts made up of retailers, international chefs and professional catering operators. Pastificio Di Martino wins the award for the third time , after 2018 with the Dolce&Gabbana Avvolti a Mano and 2019 with the D&G Special Edition tin box.
The awards ceremony was held on June 26, 2023 on stage at the Big Idea Stage at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York.
The award was received by Giuseppe Di Martino , President and CEO of the Group of the same name.
The A Pummarola tin box
The lively gift box celebrates one of the main recipes of the Campania culinary tradition, as simple as it is tasty: pasta with "Pummarola" .
The tin box contains 4 shapes of Pasta di Gragnano PGI obtained from 100% Italian wheat – spaghetti, penne mezzani rigate, tortiglioni, logo – and a Dolce&Gabbana signed cotton apron inspired by the flavors of Southern Italy.
The tin box, previewed at TuttoFood 2023 in Milan and at the Summer Fancy Food Show, will soon be available in stores and on e-commerce.
